Syracuse Man Walks Into KFC With Open Gunshot Wound
In DepthWell, that’s one way to get to the front of the line immediately.
An unidentified Syracuse, New York man was reportedly shot in the neck with bird shot yesterday afternoon, and walked into a KFC “bleeding everywhere” (as one does when they’ve been shot in the neck). The interesting thing is that descriptions of what happened seem to indicate that the man was relatively calm throughout the whole thing, although he was complaining he couldn’t swallow or talk (shock will do that to a person). Thankfully, the employees were all over it, getting the man a towel to apply pressure to his neck and immediately dialing 9-1-1. Employees reportedly weren’t worried about the man getting blood on the food “because come on, it’d be hard to make what we serve any worse than it already is.” OK, I made that quote up, but I couldn’t help myself.
It’s been a big year for traumatically injured people walking into fast food restaurants, from the guy who walked into McDonald’s with a knife sticking out of his back, to the Human Torch impersonator who walked into Taco Bell and asked for a cup of water. The good news in this case is that his injuries were apparently not life-threatening, and he’s expected to make a full recovery. The same cannot, unfortunately, be said of anyone who consumed the Double Down Dog.
