Family Restaurant Shows Hardcore Porn On Dining Room TVs

Frankly, I’m just disappointed the universe didn’t see fit to have this happen at a Howard Johnson’s.

Yes, London buffet Jimmy’s apparently showed hardcore porn in their dining room, which isn’t really an aperitif most people look for as part of their dining experience. Jade Miller, who was eating at the restaurant with her two young sons, was pretty distraught over the whole thing. After her kids told her that “something really funny” was playing on the restaurant’s TVs, she went to look, and saw, in her own words, “full-blown sex” (insert your own “blown” joke here).

The kids were young enough, though, that apparently she was able to get out of having an uncomfortable conversation:

“[My children] think it was a four-legged man shaking his willy about. How I would have explained it God only knows.”

It’s unclear what actually led to the incident of in flagrante broadcasto; Jimmy’s hasn’t yet released a statement on the subject.

Oh, also, it was gay porn, which isn’t really a relevant detail since it doesn’t change the story or make it better or worse in any way, but since a lot of outlets reporting this (with the exception of Eater — well done, Eater*) is framing this story as “It was GAY porn can you believe they showed GAY porn that’s so much WORSE than regular porn,” I should probably at least mention it.
