Man Escapes After Sexually Assaulting Woman, Stabbing Four People at Baltimore Restaurant

No jokes here; this story is just inventively awful all the way around.

Via the Baltimore Sun, Jimmy’s Famous Seafood in Baltimore, MD was the site of what can only be described as some seriously heinous shit early Friday morning. It started when an unidentified male customer on the restaurant’s second floor sexually assaulted a female patron. An employee confronted the man, whose response was about as reasonable as you’d expect from a sociopath with sexual assault proclivities: by pulling out a knife and stabbing pretty much everyone in sight before fleeing the scene.

Five people—both employees and other customers—sustained injuries, four of them knife wounds. A 29-year-old man received a cut to his hand, a 24-year-old man was cut in the neck, a 27-year-old man received cuts to his left thigh and left torso, and a 22-year-old man was cut on the wrist and abdomen. A 24-year-old woman—it’s not clear if this is the same person as the victim of the sexual assault—was struck in the nose. All were taken to the hospital, and none of the injuries are life-threatening.
