How to Make the After School Special, a Cocktail for Extracurricular Peace

In Depth

Welcome to Boozinette. This is the After School Special.

  • 2 oz scotch
  • 1 oz honey syrup
  • 3 dash Peychaud’s bitters
  • 1 lemon twist
  • 1 part honey bear (11 oz?)
  • 2 parts boiling water (22 oz?)

Pour all ingredients into a container that can handle boiling water. Let cool & refrigerate. Use in any beverage for immediate comfort in an uncomfortable world.

Pour all liquid ingredients into a mixing glass with ice. Stir pedantically for 25-30 seconds. Strain into a martini glass neat. Garnish with a lemon twist & thank Algebra that the real world ain’t as scary as they made it sound. It just has an asshole surplus.
